Events ✦ & about notokenclub
We are notokenclub — builders, researchers, and tinkerers rooted in Chennai. We gather around AI not to hype it, but to understand it and ship it. These are the receipts. No tokens required.
Event log ✦ memos from the field
Where it started. A borrowed space, a whiteboard, and a simple question — "what are you actually building?" No pitch decks allowed. We mapped who's working on what across the room, set up the weekly cadence, and accidentally invented the paper club when three people realized they'd all half-read the same paper. Founding energy, zero structure, full signal.
Something's brewing. Follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, or join the club to hear it first.
The story ✦ why this exists
We're just a bunch of tech-curious people in Chennai who got tired of having no one to seriously talk about AI and tech with. So we built our own space — a weekly gathering where curious minds dig into what's happening in AI, technology, and business, and build meaningful connections with people who are just as serious about growth.
No fluff. No gatekeeping. Just real conversations with the right people — over chai, without a sales pitch. Community-first, curiosity-driven, Chennai-rooted. And now Coimbatore-rooted too.
In-person, every week. What's moving in AI, tech, and business — argued out loud, not scrolled past.
We read research papers together, dig to the core, and push each other to write our own. Actions > awareness.
Bring the half-broken thing. Demo it. Nobody laughs, everybody helps, and it usually ships.
Meetups, workshops, hackathons — Chennai first, Coimbatore next, your city eventually.
